Ladybug Rescue 🐞

When looking through my photos I came across some interesting pictures…

While in Maine I found a ladybug on the beach. I was on a walk looking for some sand dollars when I came across this ladybug on a small smooth stone at the edge of the water. The little bug had gotten its wings wet and was unable to fly away. So I decided to help the bug out. I carried the ladybug up to beach grass where it would be able to safely dry its wings.

So why go through the trouble of saving the little ladybug? It just felt like the right thing to do. Looking back maybe I was trying to share some joy with the world. I believe ladybugs are signs of good luck. Now, the ladybug can continue on its journey and bring luck to others along the way.

After rescuing the ladybug, I found two sand dollars. Maybe it was the ladybug’s way of saying thank you.
